Building a Better Future: The Crown Group’s Commitment to Environmental, Ethical, Philanthropic and Financial Responsibility

Environmental Responsibility

Reducing our environmental impact is at the heart of everything we do in all areas of our business.

In our Fleet Department, for instance, we use Lightfoot to help reduce emissions, improve fuel efficiency, and encourage eco-friendly driving behaviour. We’re also making changes in our office by introducing more recycling initiatives, conserving energy, making environmentally efficient decisions when refurbishing our new office and exploring electric vehicle integration. It’s all part of our journey toward a greener future.

Ethical Responsibility

We are committed to ensuring the fair and respectful treatment of all individuals, both within and outside our business regardless of age, race, culture, sexual orientation (Fernando, 2024), background, experience, or ability.

Philanthropic Responsibility

Giving back is a big part of who we are. From fundraising for Save the Children and Cheshire Without Abuse, to volunteering with Pawprints to Freedom, our team is always looking for ways to support those in need.

This year, we:

• Collected 21 Christmas trees across local towns, with all proceeds donated.
• Raised £3,700 cycling 200 miles in our office for Cheshire Without Abuse.
• Hosted a Charity Ball in partnership with Mercury Lifts – raising £8,024.78 for Cheshire Without Abuse.

We also proudly support The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, which provides vital mental health services in our sector. Most recently, we’ve partnered with Leighton Hospital’s children’s ward to raise funds for VR equipment that enhances the patient and staff experience.

Financial Responsibility

We conduct our business with transparency and integrity by adhering to ethical accounting practices, regulatory compliance, and timely, accurate financial reporting. We ensure fairness across all operations – offering competitive pricing to customers, paying suppliers fairly, and providing prompt, equitable wages to our employees.
