We are delighted to share the incredible success of our recent Charity Ball, held in support of MyCWA (Cheshire Without Abuse). The evening brought together members of our community for a night filled with celebration, generosity, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
The event was held in response to the urgent funding crisis facing MyCWA, after it was revealed that the organisation has just three months to raise £500,000. This follows the shocking announcement that government funding—previously provided through the local Council—is being withdrawn. As a result, MyCWA’s ability to continue delivering life-saving support services across Cheshire is under serious threat.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our guests, sponsors, and supporters, the Charity Ball raised an incredible £8024.78, all of which will go directly to MyCWA. These funds will help ensure that the organisation can continue its vital work supporting individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, providing services such as emergency accommodation, specialist counselling, outreach support, and education programmes.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported the Charity Ball—whether by attending, donating, or contributing behind the scenes. The collective effort has made a meaningful difference at a crucial time for MyCWA.
As the charity continues its urgent fundraising efforts, ongoing public support remains essential. Every contribution helps safeguard the services that so many individuals and families across Cheshire depend on.
